Profile

Hannah Spadafora earned her Masters degree in Anthropology from
Georgia State University. Her research interests include anthropology
of violence, death rituals, ethnomusicology, socioeconomic inequality,
intersectional-transnational feminist ethics, and community activism.
Previous ethnographic research includes a project on the United States
justice system, travel-based fieldwork on religious pilgrimage in
Europe, and a pilot project on underground music fandom. Classes
taught by Hannah focus upon social-deconstruction and include
interdisciplinary lessons that merge the four subfields of
Anthropology with History, Religious Studies, Political Science, and
Philosophy.
