My educational qualifications are: a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with Physics and Statistics as minors (1979), a Master's Degree in Meteorology (1981), and a Ph.D. in Meteorology (1986). I taught various courses in meteorology at the graduate level and supervised Ph.D. students. I was promoted to an associate professor of meteorology in 1998, and continued my teaching and research in India, until I came to the U.S. in 2001. I taught Geog 1112 Weather and Climate, and Geog 1113 Landforms, at Georgia State University for four years. Currently, I am teaching meteorology online and on campus in universities in Georgia. My hobbies are drawing and cooking. In the picture above, I am standing behind one of my pencil drawings.
