Geography Awareness Week: GIS Night

November 15, 2017 ( 6:30PM - 9:45PM )

Celebrate this year's GIS Day (Geographic Information Science Day), one of the largest academic GIS celebrations in the USA, during Geography Awareness Week, with GIS students, faculty, alumni, friends, individuals from the GIS community, and geomuggles alike, at KSU GIS Night at Burnt Hickory Brewery! Revel in the art, science, (magic?) and technical knowledge of mapping in the 21st century!

The event is free for all who attend, as is parking. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are provided. Burnt Hickory Brewery beer can be purchased at $14 (for 6 six-ounce pours) for those age 21 and over. Everyone gets a souvenir glass and to spend time with the GIS community from KSU! Lightning talks, state of the program event, book signings, and various wizardly things will make the time go by faster than you can say "Alohomora!" We hope to see you all there!
